Accountants On Purpose

Dec 23, 2019

Miriam Holme is a force to be reckoned with! Miriam has a long spanning career with a myriad of achievements. She is an entrepreneur, a lawyer, a qualified accountant, the host of a podcast show and has many accolades to her name.

Miriam is the founder of FAB Tax Accountants and has over 14 years experience helping people and small businesses across Australia. Her passion and drive for keeping accounting relevant and understandable has proven to be a successful formula for her as she continues to lead the way in the accounting and taxation industry.

In this episode we cover:

  • How Miriam started Fab Tax Accountants and how she grew it from the kitchen table into the monster business it is today.
  • Miriam’s experience with Bitcoin and how she became an expert at it and gained media exposure for it - almost overnight.
  • How having family support helped Miriam to build her business but it didn’t mean instant success.
  • Facing rejection and being authentic about it.
  • Having a goal of being in the top 40 self-made women under 40.

And much more! Check out the full episode.

  • It doesn’t always happen as they say, “if you build it, they will come”, it is more like “if you build it and market and market and market, eventually they will come”.
  • I want to be genuine and authentic with sharing my journey.
